The new, improved bending program of the TFA3e with FuzzyBend™,
equipped with individual control of heating elements, ensures
the consistent quality of end products.
Special attention has been devoted to the design of the heating
elements and to their location in the furnace.
Due to the reliable bending control method developed by Glassrobots,
the new
TFA 3e furnace enables the manufacturing of windscreens with
sags of up to 32 mm.
Fast, low-cost start-up
Can be installed directly on the floor, which means that no
foundation work is required, except for a loading device, if
included in the scope of delivery.
The modular structure allows rapid installation, usually in
just two or three weeks.
The control systems are always tested before delivery of the
furnace.
We also provide operator training as required.

Proven technology:
- The patented FuzzyBend™ control system
eliminates the effects of the changing production mix, the
heat balance within the furnace, external conditions and variations
in the supply voltage. This guarantees excellent repeatability
of shape
- Repeatability of shape is further enhanced by the Vertically
Adjustable Heating Elements, VAHE™.
- The furnaces are equipped with the Condition Monitoring
and Maintenance System (CMMS™), a preventive
maintenance feature, which minimizes downtime and maximizes
hours of operation.
- Glassrobots' technicians can easily communicate with the
process computer via a modem with the remote diagnostic software,
GlassButler™.
- The heaters in the bending section can be provided with
divisions of five instead of three, 5-part Heating
Elements.
- The Temperature Balancing system consisting
of one extra pyrometer in the bending section guarantees symmetrical
heating. The glass temperature is symmetrically measured and
if variations are noted, the control system automatically
balances the heating pattern.
- Side Heaters complement the heating of
the side areas of the glass. The side heaters can also be
vertically adjustable.
- The new Mirror Pattern™ (patent pending)
eliminates the negative effects of thermal inertia from the
heating pattern of the previous glass, when running mix production.
